Vote - Single block linocut

When I made this print, I was thinking of the intersection of a global pandemic with an election process which is being undermined more and more. I thought of the responsibility of voting on behalf of marginalized people, and the power that our votes hold. I thought of the paradox of voting being both a right and a privilege, because some groups of people had to fight long and hard to be allowed to vote, while some are still being disenfranchised. I thought of how masks may cover our mouths, but they will never silence our voices.
